There was a time I read book after book but as you say, there is no perspective for war. I want to think that we somehow knew that in the protests but I really do not know that to be true. I had an uncle, and some good...That was a bad time. I had an uncle, and some good friends, that fought in Vietnam. All of them has post traumatic stress, among other problems.
